Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran teknologi digital dalam mendorong perubahan sosial dan gaya hidup di kalangan Generasi Z di era modern. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dengan individu dari Generasi Z dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Generasi Z, yang merupakan generasi pertama yang tumbuh di tengah kemajuan teknologi digital, sangat dipengaruhi oleh teknologi dalam cara mereka berkomunikasi, belajar, dan berinteraksi. Teknologi digital telah membuka peluang baru bagi mereka untuk mengekspresikan diri dan terlibat dalam gerakan sosial secara global. Namun, ketergantungan pada teknologi juga membawa tantangan, seperti penyebaran informasi palsu dan dampak psikologis dari penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang bagaimana teknologi tidak hanya memfasilitasi perubahan sosial tetapi juga menciptakan disrupsi dalam interaksi sosial dan nilai-nilai tradisional.
