STRATEGI KEMENANGAN AHMAD EKA SETYAWAN PADA PEMILIHAN KEPALA DESA DI DESA SEBETUNG KECAMATAN BELITANG HULU KABUPATEN SEKADAU TAHUN 2014 (Studi Kasus di Dusun Sungai Tebelian)

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sebetung Kecamatan Belitang Hulu Kabupaten. Permasalahan yang terjadi cukup menarik untuk diteliti, dimana calon Kepala Desa Terpilih dalam memenangkan Pemilihan Kepala Desa di Desa Sebetung Tahun 2014 memperoleh kekalahan di satu dusun yang terdiri dari 6 dusun yaitu dusun Sungai Tebelian dengan perolehan suara 60 suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Strategi Kemenangan Ahmad Eka Setyawan Pada Pemilihan Kepala Desa di Desa Sebetung Kecamatan Belitang Hulu, Kabupaten Sekadau Tahun 2014 dengan menggunakan metode penelian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu hanya menggambarkan atau melukiskan keadaan sesuai dengan apa yang ada saat penelitian dilakukan, melalui teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang peneliti lakukan dapat dilihat bahwa dari strategi ofensif Kepala Desa Terpilih kurang dalam melakukan pendekatan kepada masyarakat, depala desa terpilih hanya melakukan pendekatan terhadap tokoh-tokoh yang dianggap berpengaruh dimasyarakat, sehingga masyarakat merasa kurang mengenal kepala desa terpilih secara dekat. Dari strategi defensif Kepala desa terpilih mencoba lebih memberikan citra positif mengenai dirinya, agar masyarakat dapat percaya dan memilihnya. Hal yang dapat direkomendasikan dalam penelitian ini adalahn Kepala Desa Terpilih harus lebih aktif dalam melakukan pendekatan kepada masyarakat dan mendengar keluhan dari masyarakat, agar masyarakat merasa lebih kenal dengan calon kepala desa terpilih.

ABSTRACT

This Research was conducted in Sebetung village, Belitang Hulu District in Sekadau Regency. The obstacles that occurred in this village were considerably interesting to be studied because the elected village chief candidates in winning the chief election in Sebetung village in 2014 were defeated in on hamlet consisting of 6 hamlets. The hamlet is Sungai Tebelian hamlet with the acquisition of 60 votes. This study aims to determine the triumph strategies carried out by Ahmad Eka Setyawan in the village chief election in Sebetung village, Belitang Hulu district, Sekadau regency in 2014. The researcher used descriptivequalitative assessment methods which only describe or represent the situation in accordance with the condition as they were when the study was conducted. Data was collected through interviews and documentation techniques. From the researh findings, it can be perceived that the offensive strategy carried out by the Elected Chief was still considered lacking in approaching the community. The Elected Chief only approached community leaders who are considered influential in the area, so that the society appeared less familiar with the Elected Chief. On the other hand, from a defensive strategy, the Elected Chief has attempted to give a positive image of himself so that people can trust and vote for him in the Election. The researcher recommends that the Elected Chief should be more active in approaching the community and listening to criticisms from the society so that they feel more intimate with the Elected Chief candidate.
