Abstract

This article is intended to find out how life park interpreter in meeting the needs of family life, especially those in District Benua Melayu Darat. The purpose of this article is want to know the activities and problems encountered in the work parking attendants, and describes the economic conditions in the park interpreter District Benua Melayu Darat, and wanted to know the efforts parking attendants to meet the needs of families. This type of descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Results of the study showed that the family is a family park interpreter who has not been established because the income earned per day is not fixed, that is between Rp. 30,000 to Rp. 90,000 per day, and even then depending on the weather and conditions of employment, even if the weather does not favor any of the parking attendants do not earn any income at all, so the need for the role of the family in organizing and managing finances is a very important. For that the Department of Transportation in particular on Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Dishubkominfo Parking Pontianak city, is expected to pay attention and empower the park officers, because of the work as parking attendants can absorb new workforce and can boost the local economy is still low.
