PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PENGELOLAAN AIR BERSIH DI DUSUN PAKBUIS DESA BANYING KECAMATAN SENGAH TEMILA KABUPATEN LANDAK

Abstract

Fransiskus hendri : Community Participation in Clean Water Management in Dusun Pakbuis, Banying Village, Sengah Temila Subdistrict, Landak Regency. THESIS Pontianak: Social Development Study Program, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tanjungpura University Pontianak.A village is the oldest legal institution and original community identity. The authenticity of a village derives from its autonomy and governing authority, which are regulated and administered following the rights of origin and local traditions. In the management of clean water in Dusun Pakbuis, two types of participation  are given in a tangible form, and two types of participation are given in an intangible form (abstract). The method used is descriptive research based on the postpositivism philosophy to examine the condition of natural objects. Against  it is an experiment where the researcher is the key instrument. The data collection technique was carried out by triangulation. The main objective of this study is to describe the forms of community participation in clean water management in Dusun Pakbuis, Banying Village, Sengah Temila Subdistrict, Landak Regency. Forms of real participation in clean water management include the cooperation of the Dusun Pakbuis community in managing clean water, community organizations in managing clean water, and community responsibility in maintaining clean water. Intangible forms of participation in clean water management include techniques or ideas in clean water management, decision-making, and cooperation. In contrast, the obstacles or obstacles that affect the community in managing clean water are supporting facilities and the Government, which are no longer involved in clean watermanagement.
